My advice to you as a professional in the salon buisness for over 22 years is that you go short.Unlike long hair which is considered high maintence short hair take little if at all any time. If you cut to wear its spikey it should fit the contour of your face if its oval and skinny like.If you have an oval face and long hair, your hair overpowers your face. Coloring can also make a difference as well. If you get it to your ears it may make your face look larger than it appears. If you desire long hair than just get it layered and/or feathered its easily manageble and is cute and in style, i hope that this helps.
