As I've said before... I am not a colorist, but I've worked with some of the finest in the biz. Here's a fact you might want to think about. Over 85% of all salon hair color is corrective. That simply means that the color job was botched. Even professionals have trouble with processed hair and hair coloring is chemistry, science and art. Don't think for a minute that you can get at salon results at home when you need anything other than a touchup. Your ignorance of hair chemistry... (No you should not use vinegar to wash away color) shows me that you need a professional colorist ASAP. A real pro will benefit from you bringing the saved boxes of hair color so that they can "undo" your damage better by knowing your current hairs chemistry.
Sorry to be so hard on you, but this lesson is learned very hard for most first timers, and I'm trying to show you that I care and save you from yourself. Let this serve as a warning for anyone attempting total color.
