Sorry Dear, your FAR better off to work with what nature gave you than to fight your hairs texture and end up looking bad. I've seen it a million times! Trust your hairdresser. She's right... Shorter haircuts work far better on fine hair. Sparse hair growth looks stringy and lank when allowd to grow to the shoulders. You need a good stylist who will help you experiment with shorter cuts. For example, instead of opting for chin length and ordinary, why not go shorter or shortest and chic instead? Short hair is in style and sexier than ever with the modern cutting techniques. Modern, sexy, touselled haircuts will always be in fashion. It's when we think "I could never go that short, long hair is sexy hair." Sorry again. Your dead wrong. Thin scraggely hair is never sexy no matter how long it grows. Your perceived image of sexy or good-looking has become so stereotyped into long hair that you can't picture yourself any other way. In this regard, you have a beauty problem thats only in your mind. Fine hair can look alive and vibrant when cut by a talented stylist or hair designer. The ssoner you learn to quit fighting what nature gave you, the happier you'll be. If you insist on wearing your hair long (solely for the sake of being long)try extensions. It's a fact, the only way that fine thin hair will ever look good below the shoulders is with the added umph of extensions.
