Ìåòàô³çèêà íà öüîìó íå çàê³í÷óºòüñÿ. Äèâíèì ÷èíîì, ïîëîâö³â çàâæäè òÿãíóëî äóõîâíî äî Âîëãè.
Öÿ ïîøåñòü çàõîïèëà ³ ïðèêîðäîííå ç ïîëîâåöüêèì ñòåïîì Ïåðåÿñëàâñüêå êíÿç³âñòâî, ÿêå íàïðÿìó êîíòðîëþâàëè êíÿç³, ÿê³ ñèä³ëè â õèíîâ³ (Ðîñòîâî-Ñóçäàëüùèíà).
(Î â€òð€, â€òðèëî! ... ×åìó ìû÷åøè õèíîâüñêûÿ ñòð€ëêû ... íà ìîºÿ ëàäû âîè?...)

Òàê îò, ï³ñëÿ ðîçãðîìó Ðóñ³ ìîíãîëàìè, ÷àñòèíà ïîëîâö³â íå âèãàäàëè í³÷îãî êðàùîãî, ÿê â³äêî÷óâàòè (óâàãà!) íà Âîëãó.

Ò³, ùî çàëèøèëèñÿ, êàì’ÿíèõ áàá âæå íå çâîäèëè...
