Rod: I agree that Walsh and Donahue have a list of coaches to replace Mooch. They have had it for quite some time now and I hope they finally get to use it after this season! Detroit and even Cincinati have shown interest in Mooch. If we can trade him for draft picks then I say don't wait too long, those teams may discover that Mooch is all flash and no substance.Make the deal before they come to their senses like Tampa did last off season.
I think we go 4-0 or 3-1 in our last 4 games but I would almost wish we would go 0-4 and miss the playoffs if that is the only way to get rid of Mooch and get our new coach hand picked by Walsh. My dilema is obvious,if we go all the way like every 49er fan wishes then how can we possibly replace Mooch(if we go all the way it will be in spite of Mooch not because of him).I am hoping that we win it all and then Donahue can put out a press release that they are so sad to lose Mooch but he wanted to go back nearer to his home town in Michigan(either Detroit or Cinn. would fit that story). However they work it out I think and hope he is gone and we get some of those high draft picks that either Detroit or Cinn. are due to have in the next draft!
