Subject: Marrucci Needs some @#$%s

Having a lead going into the 4th quarter, dominating the game for most of the game why did he go conservative in the 4th quarter. He is supposed to be running the West coast offense. The same offense that was made famous by Bill Walsh. The same offense that passes first to set up the run. What happen to it?
Marucci has not accomplished anything as a coach. He inherited a pretty good team when Seifert left. He is not a coaching icon. What is his problem? He needs to make a name for himself by winning with this team.
I see Marucci speaking to the media about not having a killer instinct or mentality. It starts from the head coach. If he is too conservative and wants to run out the clock like he did with the Jets (no run defense) he is a fool. For most of the second half he decided to run the ball. Sit on it. The same thing he did with the Jets on Monday night. The Jets a team that is able to come back from behind and score points late in the 4th quarter he let them almost win the game (remember the Jet still had a chance to win 10 points with less that 2 minutes is not impossible to do).
When you have chance to put a team away you do it. If you want to protect the defense and make excuses for the defense by saying that they are too young he is in the wrong profession. If he plans to continue coaching like this then he will continue to loose games like the one to the Bears this past Sunday.
