Subject: Niners Magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to have gone to last Sunday's game. My voice is still a little hoarse from all the yelling. What a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Both sides giving their all, back and forth quarter by quarter...........you could feel the ebb & flow in the stands. I was watching Steve Mariucci through my field glasses and he remained calm and collected on the sideline. After each touchdown, Scott Gragg would go to the corner of the end zone for 10-15 seconds and was like a cheerleader getting the fans to roar there approval. In the 4th quarter the noise was deafning, which caused the 2 false starts by the Saints. It was wonderful to hear!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were watching the game on TV you saw a huge contingent of Saints fans. Well we were right above them. Each camp was yelling at the other, in a good natured way. There were no fights. A Saint fan did throw a hot dog up at us and almost hit a small boy sitting directly in front of me. There was one fan that had the Saint flag wrapped around him like a cape and he would go running up & down the aisle screaming, as the Niners fans threw hot dog wrappers at him. He was loud, every time the Saints got a first down he would give the first down signal. We would tell him to sit down & shut up. He would just look at us & smile. When Ricky Williams dropped the touchdown pass in the 4th quarter, I yelled at him "Maybe the Saints better teach Ricky to catch the ball!!!!!!" He turned at me at frowned.

Overall it was a great game. My 12 year old son had a great time getting the autographs of Gary Plummer & Keena Turner before the game. I think this was the 12th Niners game I have been to and it will have to rank up as one of the great ones, only behind the Joe Montana number retiring ceremony on Monday night a few years ago.

GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
