Subject: Bulldog on the ultimate high

The Canton McKinley Bulldogs played fearless football Saturday night as they knocked off New York Division I state champion Aquinas Institute by a lopsided score of 28-7. The win is so sweet including the fact that the Little Irish WAS ranked #5 in the nation, and it is the second time in three years with a losing record, the Bulldogs have defeated a nationally ranked power (2000, Cincinnati La Salle, 28-21). The Bulldogs were fundamentally sharp on both ends of the football in silencing Aquinas offense, who came into the game totalling 600 points! From reading The Repository, I feel that I can give a fair representation of how the Bulldogs played on offense, defense, special teams, coaching and player involvement:
1. Offense: Ryan Brinson ran for 108 yards and the offense in terms of the running game was on fire. But can they develop a passing offense against Massillon? Score: 9.5/10.
2. Defense: The Bulldogs held Aquinas to 27 rushing yards in the win, but the Irish threw for 144 yards in the loss, but the defense was solid. Score: 10/10.
3. Special Teams: The Bulldogs special teams was flawless. Good punts and outstanding coverage including TWO touchdowns off special teams. Are the Bulldogs the New England Patriots of high school football? It's a possibility. Score: 10/10.
4. Coaching: Why has Head Coach John Miller enjoyed success against nationally ranked coaches although he has had two losing seasons? It seems when everyone puts the Bulldogs off, his coaching saves them, and it's paying off. NOW BEAT RICK SHEPAS!! Score: 10/10.
5. Player Involvement: Every Bulldog player got playing time and made plays to win. Offense, defense, and special teams were of ardent success. Score: 10/10.

Score: 49.5/50. ALMOST A STATE CHAMPION!! With that performance, the Bulldogs will receive a chance to silence their detractors Saturday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m against Massillon, who lost to Warren Harding High School 31-27. GO BULLDOGS, BEAT MASSILLON!!!!! RECLAIM THE PRIZED POSSESSION THAT WAS ONCE YOURS!!!!! MAKE MASSILLON'S SEASON A LIVING TERROR!!!!!!!!
