Ex Canton McKinley Bulldog/Malone College baseball standout signs for professional career

Jeff Forbes former Canton McKinley Bulldog baseball standout and 1998 grad was signed to a professional contract with the Canton Coyotes following the Frontier League team's open tryout Sunday.Forbes had a superb season at Malone this spring.Forbes tossed four complete games and finished among the American Mideast Conference leaders in strike outs per game with 7.79.In 2001 with the Pioneers,Forbes was named to the NAIA Region IX first team.Forbes is a lefty and throws about 86 miles per hour with a good breaking ball.Congrats to Jeff Forbes and best of everything in your pro career.Way to represent!!!
