If the Massillon Tigers were peeved about losing last season's district semifinal to Canton McKinley, they wanted to prove that 67-59 loss the Bulldogs fed them was a fluke, and behind Steve Lancaster's 19 points and Jonathan Pittman's 12, the Tigers did just that and maybe even made a point in a 64-54 dismantling of the defending district champion Bulldogs at the Field House. Massillon used a 6-0 run and several momentum shifts to hold a lead they would not relinquish as they led 31-23 at the half. Massillon pushed their lead to 44-35 to start the fourth quarter and even led by 15 at one point. McKinley uesd a 9-0 run to get to 58-52 but on this night, it wasn't enough to turn back the Tigers as they won for the second time in Matt Creamer's last three visits to the Field House, this one being the most emphatic. The Bulldogs will try to bounce back and regain some pride as they challenge the LeBron James-less Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary Irish at the JAR Arena on the University of Akron campus. Tip-off is slated for 4:00 p.m. GO BULLDOGS, CANTON MCKINLEY NEVER GIVES UP!!!!!!!!!!
