Hey,
I found a jukar pistol. Does anyone have any idea the value of one? I would like to shoot it but not sure if it is safe. What grain of powder do you suggest? What is the number on the barrel for? Where were they sold?

I have a 58 cal. Musket that has these markings Antonio Zol. Gardone V.T. Brescia made in Italy XVI FARA 14968 Navy Arms Co. It is a 2 band with 3 flip up rear sights and in very fine shape. What would this gun be worth? I'm looking for a Springfield or Enfield for civil war reinactments. Thanks for all replys.

I am in need of some help IDing a black powder pistol I have had for so many years I can't remember how I even came about possessing this gun. Here is all the markings on the gun Kentuckian Cal.44 black powder only Euro-Brescia-Italy XX7 pn then a emblem. I think the XX7 means 1971 but I am not sure. The gun is in excellent condition. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to find out what the value of this gun that my husband acquired at a pawn shop. It is old I haven't been able to find a printed date on it has a small hard to see star on it the only numbers printed on it is 12810. The other side has an old navy seal for this country or some other country. There is a hide away compartment in the butt of the gun, hoops for the carrying strap on the underside of the barrel and the trigger guard, it also has a mount for the bayonnet. I know that it was a military issue gun. Oh and the sights are very old fashioned.. They flip up there's two sight knocks on the first one and one on the second one that flips up. And is a long barrel. Any help how much it is worth or any kind of history on the gun would be great.

My father, God Bless his Soul, left a 12 ga Black Powder double Barrel to me its a Filla Pietta Gussago # 6758. I tryed to loan it to my daughters boyfriend to hunt with but after a few weeks he brought it back. It seems his father is a gun collector and told him to return it because it was a collectors item, too exspensive to hunt with. I have tried to find this gun maker but it seems to me that he does not exist. Can anyone help me with identifying this gun.

This sounds like the 1963 Zouave rifle. Zoli first made these in the late 1960s/early 1970s for Sears. I have seen them selling for around $200 used depending upon condition.

I was recently given an Antonio Zoli & Co 58 Cal Black Powder rifle. I have cleaned it, and it is in beautiful condition. It has the flip up caliper sights on the rear. I'm delighted to have it, but just wondering what it is worth because I want to make sure the lady who gave it to me didn't give me something worth far too much to be giving away. She wanted it out of the house because she's afraid of guns, and her husband is in a nursing home. When were they made? Thanks for any information you can provide.

to answer inquiries about W M (Bill) Large muizzle loading rifle barrels- I own one of these- I went to Bill Large's shop in Coal Grove OH in 1973 , met Bill and we talked about a Pennsylvania long rifle I was building and decided on a 43-inch long, .450 CAl cut rifled barrel with one turn in 57"" to shoot a 140 Gr round ball. I have had the rifle many years and have killed several deer with it. I had it made with convertible ignition- flintlock and percussion cap. This was done in 1973. Bill made some of the finest and most accurate rifle barrels for muzzloaders ever built- for years they won the National Muzzle-Loading Rifle championship matches held in Friendship IN. If anyone wants any more info- E-mail me . One more thing, to my knowledge Bill never made any completed rifles for sale- If he ever did, they were for his own use or friends. Bill was a retired industrial arts teacher at a local high school.

i have recently bought a Jukar .45 cal. spanish pistol. When I bought it it had mountains of rust on the barrel and would not cock. I got the barrel back to the stainless steel and fixed it so it would cock and it looks great. could anybody tell me what it is worth, how old it is, what kind of powder it takes, or any other information about is. I know nothing. The serial number is 0050921.

I have a 50 Cal. rifle that says made in Italy. It has the letter "I" inside a square. No other manufacture name. It says black powder only and the stock has a small brass door on the right side. The rod holders are brass. The rear sights are adjustable. It has two triggers. Any help?
