>>I don't think that writing sex scenes involving 15 year olds falls into the realms of... well, I just don't really think it is appropiate. (Though I'll support you right to write it irregardless.) Fifteen is hardly the age of majority. 15 year olds don't really know about love and they can't act on it in an adult fashion in 99.9% of the cases. Sex entails certain risks and there are consequences that 15 year olds probably aren't ready for. (Or, I don't think 15 year olds should be having kids or getting AIDS. Yeah, it may make me old farty but 15 year olds should not be parents.)

I wouldn't go so far as to call it child pornography but I would still slot it very close to that. Teen porngraphy? There is some word for it. Fifteen year olds and adults are worlds apart and just because you can have sex at that age doesn't mean you should.<<

It's all question of laws. I live in France, and here the legal age of consent is 15, which means that if you have sex with anyone above 18, they can only get in trouble if you are the one to report them.

I've started writing a fic in which Harry is 15 and in which he will have sexual intercourse with someone of age. However, I intend on putting great lenghts of warnings about slash and underage sex, and the rating is R. Isn't that what ratings are made for?

Does anyone really know about love?

Runespoor, decidedly cynical too
