Jan Deer would be a good resource on this topic. She shows her 7th graders lots and lots of films about the Galapagos. (You haven't seen anything until you've seen a room full of 12 year old boys watching a film focusing on BOOBY birds...) Even given the recent Kansas BOE attack on teaching science, mom continues to spend a great deal of time on Darwin. Go mom.
