Subject: bassist seeking band

27 year old bassist, recently parted ways with band I've been in for 3+ years, seeks a new band. I'm influenced by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (mainly Flea), Cliff Burton, Misfits, Reel Big Fish, old Goo Goo dolls, Hum, Overkill, and some of the new stuff like Incubus, Stereomud and Disturbed.I'm not looking for a longhair/screaming/80's metal band, but rather something fresh and diffrent. East side or central practice space prefered, ages 22-30. Have professional gear. Looking to make this my living while not selling out to a big corporate label.

Hey Adam, you may not know me immediately but I know who you are. We were fellow opening bands at Peabody's last April. Although we are not looking for a bassist, I wanted to wish you luck, because myself and the rest of the band really liked your playing. Our old drummer is looking for a bassist for his new band, and I brought up your name as a possibility. In any event, best of luck to you....we all know we musicians need all the encouragement we can get.
