ON THE LATEST EPISODE OF FAMILY VALUES:
An addict that burns money, heartbroken before he turned twenty
Lovely scenes from his youth never multiplied, they turned ugly
He used to hug these roots and sip bubbly to the background music
He could any day just think of his background and lose it
Alcoholic stepfather knocking him back down, a back-hand
Mother living in fear, hoping her son won't imitate this bad man
But see he pays the bills so to deal with it, she'll just take some pills
He says she's fat, so just like that she'll stay away from meals
Plays with whatever cards he deals, he was the Moon, she was his Earth
The only woman that stuck beside his side, she gave him a sense of worth
How does this work?, choosing between a man and her children
They growing up with a void and she can't find a way to fill them
So she later landed on that Plymouth Rock like the pilgrims
In a gay club high off coke and ecstasy, thinkin' to herself
"I'll fall in love with whomever's floating next to me!".
Her lesbian friends aren't lovers just by-products of vulgar tendencies
Verbal and physical abuse has taken its toll on her mentally
She was getting high when her husband left, had a miscarriage
Loves her girlfriend but she can't have the same-sex marriage

Its illegal where she lives she's gonna write the Mayor a letter
Saying how she's deeply in love her dear Alicia, is loved forever
The stepfather moved on and dealt with his alcoholism
Finally let it go, saved his soul, became a full-fledged Christian
A man on a mission has joint custody of the children
Blended family, but it won't distract from the empire he's building
See, he changed his life around and everything was first-rate
Met a new girl and promised he'd never hurt her on the first date
His stepson still had hard feelings and was known as a local rapper
Addicted to several narcotics as if sobriety just didn't matter
His pops was trying to be a better man before the congregation
Never thought he'd be the focal point of all their conversations
There was a mixtape his stepson made that some kids had listened to
Where he dropped his stepfather's name, and how he endured sick abuse
The fellow members of the church just didn't know how to face this
Their pastor being a vicious molestor and habitual rapist
The parents had met again at their child's funeral
He overdosed after his confession, it made him feel most unusual
Like he was haunted by a past that wasn't worth his time
Just wanted his stepdad to pay for his past heinous crimes
Wanted his mother to pay for being a fool, then being gay
Wanted to break his writer's block and whatever else got in the way
All that repressed emotion just wasn't good for his health
Cause his life story was a classic but it made him kill hisself
