A poem a day keeps the writer's block away, stop what
you're doing right now and actually conversate, 'cause
I can feel sobriety lying me down, if no one's around you
chat with the Sky and the ground, clawing to the top
your fingers just stay raw, the stars invited you up so you
could see what they saw, inducted into another Hall of Fame
pretending to share a path with Zombies who mispronounce your name
treat it like a shield, its feeling like a barricade
tricks of the Runaway slave trade, business is slow
Hell of a feeling, gotta break the chains to know
visions of slopes, hills and valleys of Neptune
eclipsed the mental patient dancing in the rec. room
Freddy dipped her arched back of tone muscles
forgot about his alter-ego, all alone in the struggle.....
for identity

A book every few months between puffs of huge blunts
can make you feel the Gravity of true Love
you don't quite comprehend, then again, who does?
forget the World issue, talk about whatever you want
True enough but we know about the daily omission
if only you could uplift instead you raise suspicions
a spellbinding fiction made for television.
