Subject: X-Men/Lock-up/Helpless Feeling (Rant/Journal)

I feel like there's strange chemicals flowing through me right now.I'm going to attempt to just write what I'm thinking. Was watching the X-Men Wolverine: Origins movie. I think the copy I watched was a bootleg copy. I like the way the story unfolded. I have no major gripes with it.

If I was going to be picky though I would say they could've handled Gambit's character a little better. I like how his interaction with Wolverine was portrayed. It's just that Gambit had kind of a mystique that I feel they didn't capture. Also, in the cartoon he was portrayed as a ladie's man and they didn't capture that aspect of his character in my opinion.
Watched Lock-up on MSNBC and they were in the female's dorm in Maricopa County Jail. It amazed me that in this particular jail that this certain female they interviewed was saying that she would wait 5 years for her boyfriend who got arrested around the same time, if she had to.

She was also saying she wasn't attracted to women at all. Another inmate told her she would get at least 3 years after looking at her paperwork. Then she found out her boyfriend caught a 7-year charge. So like a few days after that interview she was having a physical relationship with another woman.
The thing that was sad to me was when her mother came to
visit her and at one point her mother started crying. I started thinking how much it must suck to be the concerned parent who's child is in jail. That must be a really demoralizing and helpless feeling.
I felt more sorry for the mother having to see their child in jail then the child that got theirself locked up at that point.
