Subject: (Movie Adaptation of "A Clockwork Orange")

I was thinking if I did a movie-adaptation of the movie, the cast I'd want and how I'd shoot certain parts.
I'm really just imagining certain parts or characters the way I did when I read the book. I would have the rapper Cage play Alex.
His song "Agent Orange" would be the song that plays at the very
beginning. The characters Pete and Georgie were really unimportant in my opinion but the character Dim fascinated me. I liked Dim because he defied the main character so vehemently. I didn't like Alex's character as much as Dim's.

I imagined Dim's character as Vin Diesel. As far as their attire they'd dress in outfits like what Lupe Fiasco wore in the "Show Goes On" music video.

The part where Alex jumps out of the window, the song that makes him agitated would be Cage's song "Eating It's Way Out Of Me". Then the music would change to the part on Kanye West's song, "Power", the outro where it says, "This'll be a beautiful death....jumping out the window, letting everything go".
As the music switches and he approaches the window to jump his movements slow down, everything starts moving in slow-motion. He has flashbacks of all the things he did up to that point. When he jumps it will be the similar effect of when David Aames Jr. jumps off the roof in, "Vanilla Sky".

He'll imagine the fall as being higher than it actually was. I don't think the book ever really specified exactly how high the jump was.
Common-sense tells you it wasn't skyscraper high because he survives the jump. I would have Samuel L. Jackson as the chaplain in the prison. He and Cage/Alex would have an argument then a fistfight after a heated discussion about the State's plan for Alex.
Samuel L. Jackson will be expressing how what the state wants to do is a crime against human rights.
Alex will be expressing how bad he wants to get out of the prison and how he's developing a desensitized and institutionalized mentality.
The movie would have the full ending of Anthony Burgess' original intended work. At the end Alex's body language and tone will give you the impression he's changed slightly of for the better and that he's wiser because he experienced the loss of his free-will.

At the very end he'll be walking to his apartment where his wife and infant child are. He rode his Hayabusa motorcycle home without a helmet. When he starts the motorcycle, "Needles and Pins" by Deftones starts playing faintly in the background.
Cage gives a spoken-word soliloquy as a voiceover for the ride scene. When he's home his keys are on the counter.
His wife is played by Rashida Jones. He lifts up his infant daughter, the "Needles and Pins" song comes back slightly louder.

The way it's shot and Alex's final words in his soliloquy/voiceover give you the impression that his daughter will follow in the footsteps of how he used to be even though he's changed.
