A quiet room where freeverse takes place...

It could be somewhere out in Tucson
visit but don't stay there too long
cause see this is a place for fresh ideas
its so beautiful to be right here
feeling lighter than air, antigravity
it has to be a place where you
escape melodrama and tragedy
Here we could pass the weeks
recreating epics haphazardly
poetry staggers me with possibilities
today is a good day for a walk
feel the sun and sing a song
sing-along with if you know the words
just last night the rain was strong
see here a random brain could storm
change the form of whats plain and norm
zephyrs blow too hard sometimes
Leaving things deformed, faith is born
I fall asleep in the doldrums
life here is sweet as a codeine high
its not a comfort zone its home
somewhat, everytime I wanna roam
I get spellbound by the skyline
In this quiet room with a radio
I really, really like the tune
Inspiration hits and I'm writing soon
here in the utility room.
