the hunger pangs of another rehearsal
done in vain I need another lane
this train of thought derailed
reality hits me harder than Clubber Lang
this verse is worse could it have a dumber name?
I love the game and the way it is
outlasted those who couldn't take another day of this
I'm indecision mated with complacency
"I hate this shit", I hate the cadences
the words layering is so off-base again
this ill-advised lyrical exercise
where does it all go, what does it symbolize
everytime I get a little closer to Growth
my internal editor hangs me from a rope
this artist is starving to be worshipped
you sell me your soul when the painting's purchased

fame and prestige are games of intrigue
I crafted a story you'd be insane to believe
this anorexic ego starving to be heard
concept-greed watch me copyright the words
everyone has a price of that be assured
so my only question now, "What's Yours?"
