Off-beat taxi driver, occasionally I get away
Round-trips today, listening to what patrons say
A mini-confessional, no bodily fluids nor chemicals
To be exchanged, sometimes it gets polemical
Some lives so inverse, some so identical
I ride through this traffic and use the Earth
As inspiration when I see an old lady lose a purse
To a hungry theif, no grief, machinations of the Universe
Me and my neverending caravan trapped in nowhere
Keep a picture of Costa Rica, one day I'll go there
The cayman islands, somewhere very exotic
Where taxi's don't crowd streets, less robotic
More free to think about my varying interests
No need for a Marlboro when life gets intense
I wanna be that guy from the Corona commercials
Parading on the beach till the sky turns purple
