him out there without his crew knocking violently on heavens door
so he screams out in hellish roars his defeats need pedicures
whole decades that were stunted by psychedelic acid trips
its all gone now no time to float back to it..now fodder for satirists
lenin.....can you sing us a song...lennon can you write us a ballad
Show us the depth of your most latent Talents...find euphoria
but find your balance...you write songs that make the world smile
such a sweet vocal style...to see shot down...physical defiled
they wanted to deport you for being anti-war......
a visionary is what they saw in you subjected you to martial law
on that cold December night....inside of your double fantasy
I wonder who you woulda been if you became who
you had a Chance to be...but it'd be colder shots that silenced thee
They say you live by the gun you die by the same fate
but if you live for love you can die by the same thing
sometimes I feel that the world is hateful and coreless
cause you stood up for peace but people hated you for it
Across the universe we can hear your melody so we dance
Someone tell me why we won't just give Peace A Chance.......
