Subject: She was in heat, but was wary of leaving the area

She paced back and forth for a while, looking for small prey. She spotted a small fawn, its mother was grazing. The lioness crept closer to the fawn. She pounced, the fawn's mother saw her atttack and chased Hanta. It was too late, Hanta had peirced the vagular vein of the fawn. Hanta retreats knowing the fawn was her's. The mother realizes the fawn was dead and left. Hanta tears into the small kill and eats most off it. She licks herself, getting the blood from the kill off. The kill is left for the scavengers Then she walks off, and lies down to sleep, her ear twiches at sounds. After a while she wakes up. She washes her paws, face and body. Her freedom was greatly enjoyed, she knew if she bred, there was a chance that the lion would try to claim her. It was a risk she would have to take.. her insticts to pass on her genes to other generations was too strong to ignore. She slowly pads out, she would would return to Deadly Dreams, her home.
