I never played the arcade original of Eliminator, which this is based on, although I always wanted to, since at the one game room I ever saw it at, it was constantly in play! So this review is not going to compare it to the arcade version.

This is a combination of Omega Race (what with bouncing off of walls) and...well, something deadly: there's a floating fortress that you must destroy, but only a shot up it's center will do so; collision with it is deadly. There's these annoying sentry ships that can shoot and knock you into it, but you can do the same to them as well.

This can be a long-playing game, due to starting off with five ships and earning an extra with each fortress you destroy, although more sentry ships are added with each new level. If you're the type of person who can't use thrust when you play Asteroids, then you should avoid this game, you're not going to last at all without flying around a lot.

This is one of the few games out there that require strategy, yet luck can also play a bit of a factor as well. Tough, but a pretty decent game.
