What do you get when you have an Asteroids-type game, but you have to be careful with your shooting? Solar Quest!

Here's a game that makes little sense in the idea of it: you destroy ships that are flying around the screen, THEN pick up their survivors before they fly into the sun? Yeah, *that* makes sense.

Like Asteroids, you move left and right, thrust, hyperspace, and fire your way through several different enemy ships. After a while, they start moving evasively across the screen and can gang up on you. You also have a Nuke function that isn't very helpful, since there either has to be a cluster of ships together for it to work properly, or you have to press the Nuke button a second time if you want to manually detonate it, which is rather clumsy as you fumble over the buttons.

A phantom ship also starts appearing after a while as well that's worth big points.

I can't judge how closely this relates to the original arcade game since I never played it. So I'm just rating it as is. It's ok, but I didn't find it to be real fun. Oh well.
