Subject: Here in the Southtown...



{It is a rather cold Febuary night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where the HWF crew has arrived at apartment building 7222. They are waiting for an answer to their buzz up to apartment 28 where Mark Baldwin has called them, to conduct an uncharacteristic out of ring interview. Finally Baldwin's voice is heard on the speaker telling the crew to come up, he is ready to give the interview. The crew does not know what to expect from the much hated superstar, who when they talked on the phone just hours ago had seemed much different than usual, no bragging, no cockiness, not even one profanity. Before they realized it the crew had knocked on the door & out came Mark Baldwin}

Mark Baldwin: Come in, I've setup a place for the interview right over there in the living room.

{The crew is uneasy but decides to sit in the chair Mark Baldwin has designated}

Mark Baldwin: Alright guys I'm anxious to get this thing started so let's go.

HWF Interviewer: Alright just hold on one second while we get the tape recorder and camera equipment ready.

{The camera man sets up everything than gives the interviewer the sign to begin}

HWF Interviewer: Okay, well Mark Baldwin every interview you've had here in the HWF has been in the ring with you making your usual introduction then grabbing a microphone and talking, why the sudden change in interviews?

Mark Baldwin: Just when you thought you saw the best Mark Baldwin had to offer he hits you with something like this. Welcome to my home, my apartment, Southtown Pittsburgh, Pastime Boulevard, Building 7222, apartment eight! This is where I am before I get to the arena, this is where I go when I leave! "Here in the Southtown where you know that kids don't play, I put it down in the streets will I see anotherday?!"

{Mark Baldwin snickers as he qoutes a verse from his theme song performed by POD}

HWF Interviewer: Okay, (obviously confused) anyway let's get to a question about wrestling how did you feel about your first match on Monday?

Mark Baldwin: Well indeed, my first HWF match is in the books, I have defeated the first wave of wrestlers thrown at me all five of them! I am aware that the guys I defeated in that hardcore five way match up were not exactly mega HWF superstars. In fact I believe the correct term would be jobbers. So winning the match really doesn't justify bragging or anything to that effect, however it did put a tally in the win column and it did launch the HWF career of the hottest young talent in this federation!

HWF Interviewer: Alright good, but now that you did complete your debut match, youv'e got a match on Thursday against RIOT, he's, well let's just say he's a more talented wrestler than your first opponents, the match will be a last man standing contest which means..

Mark Baldwin: I know what it means you idiot! God dammit don't make me have to smack you in my own damn living room!

HWF Interviewer: Okay, okay, well the match will be a last man standing contest, and recently he challenged you to make this match a match where if you lose you will hand your number one contenders spot to the hardcore title over to RIOT. eleborate...

{Mark Baldwin rests his chin on his right arm and thinks for a couple of seconds}

Mark Baldwin: Yeah that's right, my next match is going to be against RIOT on Thursday in a last man standing contest, and I am definitely aware that RIOT will be tougher than the four men I defeated times another four of 'em. I haven't been around this federation for very long but since I have been here, I've learned that RIOT is a relatively new wrestler trying to make a big impact on this federation, but what I what I don't think RIOT realizes that I am the exact same thing, me and you, we are both all about climbing the ladder here in the HWF! You might think you will tear me up on Thursday but I think it is going to be a fantastic match-up between two fantastic, young, and down right entertaining wrestlers!

HWF Interviewer: Oh um, if I may, what about the stipulation he made about the number one contendership against Mark Dunn and the Hardcore Title?

Mark Baldwin: Oh yeah that. Hey Riot you can forget about it! But I'll tell you what, if you can beat me in this match on Hardcore Thursday, and if I can somehow pull a victory out of my hat on Monday against Mark Dunn for the HWF hardcore title, you'll get the first shot at the title. I know that aint what you want, but too bad 'cause that's what your gonna get!

{Mark Baldwin get's up and poses three times for the camera, then smacks the HWF baseball hat the interviewer has on and tells the crew to get the hell out.}
