The great black dragoness looks on proudly on as her kittens enter the world. The first of eight is a vivid blue female. Her eyes the color of the sea, she enters this plane with a joyous song, letting the rippling music fill the cavern for long minutes before sighing and curling in a corner. The second is also female. A dusky purple kit, rather small with starry eyes. The third a large male of orange and yellow. He sings his song of entrance with exuberance before also falling to the floor and sleeping. The fourth is a light green male. He has forest green eyes and his song of entrance is calm and cool, with hidden secrets. The fifth is again male. He is deep vermillion, his wings patterned with gold. Truly this one is rare. Next a female, a white so shimmery that it seems pearlescent. She signs sweetly, her dark eyes seem like opals and her lids do little to hide them as she falls asleep. The seventh is male, his smooth hide a charcoal gray with black eyes, a slightly vicious male with a fierce temper. But like his siblings he falls asleep. The final is a purple and blue green female with blue eyes. She sings a dark song before dropping off to sleep.
