Author: Whitney (and pets)
Subject: at the enterance

::+-+::the clicking of the horse's hooves pattered against the rocky earth. Soon slowing down and stopping. Slowly the girl got off and surveyed the landscape. A bit skeptical of the trip she had to take her horse and wolves on to get there, on the side of a tall cliff. With expert hands she tied up the horse's bridle and patted his muzzle once. The horse nodded his head in return and then drooped his head in rest. Whitney smiled and said::+-+::

..:good idea ol' Beau boy. I might take a while:..

::+-+::She stepped back and looked up at the sky, Raven called out his cry of hunt and she smiled and whispered to Beau.::+-+::

..:Perhaps I might teach him to share me his food after he hunts...it's getting to that time I'm afraid boy:..

::+-+::She patted her horse again and heard a slight whimper and looked down to see DesertWind rearing to go. Upon a rock beside the cave was FireStorm, her older wolf was well in all situations. DesertWind was always giddy, but she sympathized the young need for action and movement. She clicked her toung against the top of her mouth, signaling the two to come down.::+-+::

::+-+::FireStorm took on perfectly at her left side, walking at her pace. DesertWind studied the ins and outs of the cave pacing left and right behind, infront, and even inbetween the synchronized two. The tunnel was dark except for a few laterns and she soon saw a brighter room at the end. She entered it and looked around. In the corner was the father, glaring over all that entered. Over in the rear was the mother. She snapped and got DesertWind in line behind FireStorm, she walked forward and DesertWind tried to get out of line to explore the interior but FireStorm -the senior wolf- growled and snapped him back in line. One repremanding from her was enough to tell him that it was time to listen with both ears and watch with both eyes.::+-+::

::+-+::Slowly Whitney walked up to the mother and father and said::+-+::

..:...hello...fine young-ins you got there...:..

::+-+::Her voice droned on endlessly and she looked back at DesertWind and FireStorm. Then both walked up. FireStorm on the left, DesertWind on the right. They both sat right next to her and she put her hand on their heads. FireStorm's head lowered and watched the dragon cuatiosly, always on guard. DesertWind just hummed a slight note of happiness at her hand rested gently upon his brow. She looked back up::+-+::

..:These are one of my 4 pets. This one is DesertWind, he is younger and still learning. This one is FireStorm, the eldest of my two wolves, she knows almost all there is to know about traveling and life.:..

::+-+::She laughed at the different actions of the wolf. DesertWind humming a melody of happiness, and FireStorm standing there ready just incase::+-+::

..:see the difference:..

::+-+::She looked up, the Dragons weren't amused. She slowly cleared her throat and said::+-+::

..:May I have one your...children to add to my family. I personally know that since FireStorm's last litter of 2 wolves that died she has wanted some type of youngin of her own. I guess she's too old to rear her own pups, but from past experience she makes a great mother...:..
