Author: Scorch Rayle
Subject: But where could we find a duck and a hose at this hour?

Rayle's face bursts into the kind of grin you’d rather not get from someone with 3/4 inch canines. “Big one’s!”

Scorch, being demolitions expert, clarifies, giving Pinky a slightly less unnerving smile then his companions. “It’s simple. This...monstrosity of an edifice has it’s own power generation. And, obviously it needs a very large amount of power. A vast amount. So much, in fact, we know this power could only be…”

Rayle quickly fills in the blank. “Nulear! Which means that if you can get our pyromaniacle friend here inside, to work his magic...” he indicates towards the fox-morph. “Then we can make the Ark of the Covenant look like a cherry bomb!” The feline looks like he’s about to explode into something between a giggling fit and a killing spree.

Scorch too appears enthralled by the plan. His fur seeming to crackle with static charge. He’s never gotten the chance to do anything quite this big before. He is an exceptionally intelligent and well trained individual, his areas of expertise including mechanics, chemistry, and physics. He also dabbles through volumes of military and covert strategy when he has the time. Nothing serious though. And almost all of this knowledge is devoted to making things burn. As such, however, he’s never felt entirely challenged by the missions he and Rayle have been commissioned for.

But this...this just might be worthy of him.

The cause is not of particular importance; in the end, a mere detail. Because of his less than conventional heritage (though a bit more conventional in Kiyonis than in anywhere else) he has never really felt the need to conform to a concept of good or evil. Of traditional morality. He knows what he believes to be right and wrong, but doesn’t act on them when it comes to something of this magnitude.

In the end, he lives to challenge himself. And this op might make the whole mortal coil thing worthwhile.

Phew. Sorry if anyone though the whole in-depth look at Scorch was a bit self-indulgent ^_^ I just felt that his character needed some developing, so it would be a bit easier to justify the way he behaves.
