Subject: Sorry I took so long. . .

It is Sunday morning, Holy Day, and the masses have flocked to the gates of the Neuracomp Church. The church does not yet open until 0700 hours, for the Truth Speakings begin at 0800, but that matters little to a crowd that ranges from the fanatical to the merely loyal. Some have slept in the cold of the street, taking shelter in the ruined apartments across the way. The one who shows up the earliest proves his or her faith. The one who shows up earliest gets the best seat (seat to what, one exactly wonders). The one who shows up earliest is assured a fine place in the afterlife. But best of all, the first through the gates gets first crack at the Enlightenment Nodes, and that, of course, is what matters.

Waiting at the entranceway is Trevor Deoge, one of the newly ordained priests. His robes appear a little too large; the drooping sleeves are too long, and the hem nearly drags the ground, instead of being a proper two inches off. Pinned at the collar of his robe is a simplified version of the Neuracomp emblem--merely the two hands, raised upwards as if in supplication, set against the raid sun. The young, brown-and-white canine morph looks slightly uncomfortable--he has been able to call himself one of the Neuracomp Order for only a few days, and this is his first time conducting the Entering. As the gates creak open--a few minutes earlier than 0700 hours, much to the delight of many--Trevor raises his hand to bless each person as they walk under the arch. After a while, the faces and voices begin to blur until he can barely distinguish one from the other.

"May the Transcendent's blessing be upon you," he mumbles, sliding his right hand across a young otter's eyes until his fingertips rest on the otter's right temple. His hand drops, and the otter gives him a cheerful nod and proceeds in.

If I did anything wrong, just kick me, 'kay? Sorry I took so long. **deep bow** Hopefully now we can start posting again.
