There's a special kind of forgetting that here we must practice: move on from 9/11, because--surprise surprise--life keeps moving. 9/11/01 was NOT the day the world stopped turning, it didn't even falter for a second. Sure, it was a big thing that happened, I know that. But we can't be stuck in the past, right?

HOWEVER--to honor those who died and their families, we must not try to completely forget 9/11/01 and put it from our minds . . . there's a balance here.
