 Guess what. OK, I was happy I got to canter and jump, but Chris, I GOT A HORSE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kathy was going to take the grey mare to the auction today, but then, miraculously I convinced my dad to let me buy her!
I named her Lady Liberty, Libby for short. She's a dapple grey TB mare, three years old (four on April 16) straight from the race tracks (no, I don't have a death wish), she's actually pretty docile. She's around 15.2 hh, and gorgeous! She's got excellent racing bloodlines, her great great grandfather made over $1 million!!!! she's made $10,000 this past year, but due to a chipped bone she's retired and probably won't be racing any more. She is also registered but Kathy is still trying to track her papers from Southernlynn (I think that's how you spell it) breeding farm in New York. We took her first few photos today and hopefully I will get them scanned and posted on the internet ASAP! I just hadda tell you guys! For those of you who have seen Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, she looks almost identical to Lightening. Well hope everyone's doing great here as well! Cya round! ;-D
