As much as I hate the thought of losing either character, I feel that it will be one of these two, or both. Why? Because Mr. Weasley works for the ministry, his son is Harry's best friend, he loves muggles and he's irritated Mr. Malfoy with all of the raids. Since Mr. Malfoy is a death eater it would make sense that he would report to Voldemort that Mr. Weasley is not only a muggle lover, but the father of Harry's best friend. I'm also fairly certain that Voldemort will be looking for a way to hit Harry hard and indirectly in book 5 just to let him know what's to come. Since JKR has let us know that neither Ron, nor Hermione will die in book 5, I have to look at which characters would hurt the most to lose. Hagrid is one of Harry's best friends and JKR's favorite character, or one of her favorites. She said the death was horrible to write and that she cried during the entire writing of the death in book 5. The question is would V want to kill Hagrid just to hurt Harry, or would he want to kill off Mr. Weasley because of his ties to the Ministry as well as to Harry? Which death would benefit Voldemort the most?
