Sandy Plains
This place is hot most of the year and pretty dry. During the winter, it gets rather cold though. There are small pockets of springs here and there, which keeps small areas semi-fertile. These are enough for a few herds to depend on for their supply for a year. This is a good place to start a herd, but not so great for raising foals. You can raise foals here, but it would be a real test.
