I'm a huge Jeff Burton fan and have been collecting for a number of years, but, I got out of the diecast collecting for the same reason I got out of collecting other things. I'm a completist type collector, I gotta have it ALL!

However, it had become too time consuming, too much $ to even keep up. And now, I need the $ more than I need the cars. I still watch and cheer Burton every week, but, these collectibles MUST GO!

While I am aware of the worth of these, I'm not like most collectors asking near book price for everything they sell. I'd rather they find a good home, somewhere someone will display them or is purchasing them to bolster their collection.

Make me an honest offer(don't insult me by sending an email saying "I'll give you $20 for everything, take it or leave it"). You'd be surprised at some of the emails.

Even if you only need certain ones, you can eBay the rest or network with other NASCAR/diecast/J. Burton collectors thru various NASCAR/Fan/collectible sites as I used to do and trade the ones you don't need for the ones you DO.

My husband has over 15 diecast cars most of them are Dale Earnhardt Sr. He is ready to let go of them, but we don't even know were to start. Is there a place that we can find out how much the cars are worth or what to set our selling price at? We have thought about ebay, but some of the cars are one of a kinds and could only be purchased though a Snap-On dealer and we have sold somethings on there before and it didn't sell like we thought it would. I have the preferred series in both copper and in the yellow Cheerios paint scheme. Prices are negotianable as I said before. back, I was browsing through news groups, just like you are now and
came across a message just like this, that said you could make

So I thought yeah right, this must be a scam!!! But like most of us, I
was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to
each of the 6 names and addresses stated in the message. You then
place your own name and address at the bottom of the list at #6 and
post the message in at least 200 news groups. (There are thousands).
No catch, that was it.

So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first. I
thought about trying it. I figured, what have I got to lose except 6
stamps and $6.00, right? So I invested the measly $6.00!!! Guess what?

Step 2: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the
other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc.) and add your name as

different news groups and post away, after you get the hang of it, it
will take about 30 seconds for each news group!
