Will the Real Loser’s Please Stand Up.

Over 1 billion dollars for 2 new stadiums in Philadelphia, the city will pay more than a half a billion dollars with over-runs when it's all completed. Property taxes in Philadelphia are going up, it’s estimated that 300,000 of the 567,000 properties in Philadelphia will receive higher assessments this year. The Philadelphia school district has been shortchanged by the current system of taxation and state aid and is in financial crisis. Also, Philadelphia is in a financial crisis and many jobs will be cut over the next few years. And just last week, after promises to taxpayers that the new sports stadiums would pay for themselves, it appears the City of Philadelphia may now be forced to pay $5 million to $8 million annually to cover its bond payment for construction of the two new stadiums. Corporate welfare at it’s best. The average salary in sports today is over a million dollars and rising and yes we are paying for it one way or another, taxes on this and taxes on that so we can pay for a playground for the rich. Donovan Mcnabb just recently signed a 12-year, $115 million contract that includes more than $20 million in guaranteed bonus money. If the average worker were to match Mcnabb’s $20 million in guaranteed bonus money, they would have to work for 500 years. Furthermore, to match Mcnabb’s whole contract, they would have to work 2,875 years. This is the future of sports and why we should take a stand and not a seat watching the big game.

Get a life loooooosers. I would love to beat some sense into you drones.
