Subject: Windsong Checkup

¶Pulling a very stubborn mare in, Diane laughed.

So you wanna give me trouble dont you?

The mare tugged heartily at the lead rope, lapetts pinned to chiseled dial angrily. Hooves merrily danced, striking at the ground, causing a rhythmic dance of music. Diane once again, just like she had done with Graz, placed her hand on the mares muzzle, and pressed down gently, causing the mare to bow her neck and lower her head. Keeping her hand there for better control Diane looked around for the vet and spotted her.

I would like a normal checkup for her, just to make sure shes okay and then if its alright I would like the farrier contacted so he/she can look at her shoes."

The mare reacted to the words with a shrill whinny and a half rear which was stopped by a sudden pull of the lead rope by Diane.

"Now, Wind I dont want no trouble from you. Soon, Graz and you are going to be meeting and I dont want any trouble. Got me."

The mare grew silent, ears suddenly drawing forth in interest, unheeding the words of Diane, but instead watching the entrance of other equines. Tugging at the lead rope, she pranced forth, raising regal crown to emitt loud whinny to gain attention of the other horses. Eyes remained intent upon the horses, forgetting about the rope that held her halter tight. Jumping forth she pulled at the rope, causing her head to shoot back and her body to twist around. Rearing in anger, the mare lashed out at Diane only to find Diane was no longer there. Instead she was at her side. Diane pulled on the lead rope without hesitation, making the mare resume foot on all fours. A smile spread across Dianes face.

"Your gonna make it tough on me arent you. Well, as I figure it, you might as well. It'll be some fun trying to get you to calm down."

(Grrr......this is bad, but oh well, I'm just tired. No sleep last night cause my dog was sick. Animals! I love them TOO much. lol.)
