Pada konteksnya, perkawinan itu merupakan suatu gabungan dari hubungan seks, hubungan memuliakan Tuhan, dan hubungan antara kita dengan sesama. Dari sini jelas terlihat bahwa perkawinan itu kudus. Alkitab tidak pernah melarang dan mengatakan itu dosa, namun Alkitab mengajak kepada kita bahwa perkawinan diharapkan dapat menjadikan anda seorang yang `lebih ` lagi dalam melayani sesama dan Bapa di surga
