There are times when we all remain forgotten
But the imprints of us
are still engraved on the hearts
of those that choose to
remember.

I choose to remember.

*Back from the days of yore has one returned. A shadow that, rather than casting darkness into the world brings hope and wonder. The alabaster femme awakens from her dreamless slumber, the cool air of the morning chilling her hide. The light has just barely begun to streak its way across the inky blackness of the sky, and her mahogany orbs strain to search the crowd of equines. Some where deep inside of her does a yearning live - for the days when the classics reigned, but still she remained forgotten by those she had thought her friends forever. The aged and ragged mare's still-piercing occuli do rest on the frame of one so familiar - it had been a long time since the sentiment of remembrance had slid it's warm finger about her heart. But here was one that could ignite the flame of the past inside of her - indeed to help create a brighter future. She was old, weary, worn out now. There was doubt in her ability to lead a new generation into a new era. And yet, she was glad that she had lived but the day to see an old face once more, a welcome one. Quiet Dignity. She had never thought to see him again. But she was old now. Would he remember her? Did he even care? Well, now was the time to find out. A lone whicker escapes her, almost involuntarily calling to the new-oldtimer. Through all the noise of the countless faceless equines that bleed JBTH dry here, her voice was still audible over the crowd.*
