Steady pattern relishes it's birth, echoing from the peaks of sheer cliff's, both near and distant. Following, with great haste is the shadow of an equine; and merely a shadow. Unshod flint quadruplets striking with rythmic accuracy against thirst starved earth. Despite all efforts, the eye cannot frimly take hold of this image, and in moments it has faded to a distant memory; one not soon to be forgotten. Popping now and again from behind tufts of plains grass, equine presses on, easy gait holding the blissful peace of hurrying for the pure joy of doing so. A completely niave figure?
