I'll admit to a bias here because I have generally liked the World League less and less with every passing season, but my general order of priority in "protecting" the teams would go like this:
- Original WLAF teams
- First-wave revival WLAF teams (Scotland/Amsterdam/Rhein)
- Original FWL teams
- New-wave NFLE teams (Cologne, Berlin, etc.)
