John sits sliently at the bottom of the tree, out of sight. Looking up, he can only see Nail's legs, but he knew it could only be her. Listening to the song, he sighs, and leans back against the tree, and whispers sadly, "That goes for both of us." Feeling put out, and lonely, he stands silently. For a moment, he lingers by the tree, deciding what to do. A voice inside his head said, She will never love you... Angry at himself, he thinks, That's right. How could she ever love a fool like me, drunk or high half of the time!? and walks out from under the treehouse, heading back towards the house. Then, something compelled him to slow, and stop, and he looked back at the treehouse, his eyes lingering on the figure silhouetted against the moonlight...
