*the girl shrugs she shoulders once more, feeling rather stupid. She had used to work in the nightclubs dancing and singing and every now and then playing her guitar but that had been before. Nail runs her fingers through her hair and sighs* "I guess I could. But hold on..." *she walks over and snatches a guitar away from one of the boys and plops down on a stool, instrument slung over her knee, holding pick in her left hand she retunes it for a left handed player. Strumming afew times she looks up, her cat spheres sparkling* "Let me know what you think and then you can pick out one of your songs. I'll play something 'light' for you guys."
*Begins to pluck at the strings and it soon settles into a slow song with a pretty melody.*
"Whenever sang my songs..on this stage..on my own. Whenever said my words..wishing they, would be heard. I saw you smiling at me. Was it real or just my fantasy? You'd always be there in the corner, of this tiny, little bar.
My last night here for you..same old songs, just once more. My last night here with you..maybe yes, maybe no.
I kind of liked it your way, how you shyly placed your eyes on me. Oh did you, ever know, that I had mine..on you.
*she launches from an alto sound to a supprano*
"Darling so there you are, with that look on your face, as if your never hurt, as if your never down. Shall I be the one for you? Who pinches you softly but sure. If frown is shown than you will know that you're not dreeeaming.
*settles back to alto*
So let me come to you. Close as I--wanna be. close enough to feel..your heart..beating fast. And stay there as I whispered how I loved your peaceful eyes on me. Oh did you, ever know that I had mine on you..*all of a sudden she stands up, and blinks back what might be tears she murmurs* "Excuse me" *and runs out of the room*
