Just for the record, the word is spelled "pathetic" but I agree with you. The Test was cancelled months ago, but I say good riddance. As for the X Show, the chances of that coming back are slim and none. They can't just "bring it back". It's not that simple. Most of us are pretty resigned to that, not to say we like it. Besides, at this point, I don't think FX could put together a decent version of the show if they wanted to.
As far as I know, Bert is currently the only former host totally available. And we all know what happened to the show when he came onboard. Mark is running a production company. I'm sure he wouldn't give up that kind of power and money. That's why he left the show to begin with. Gary has a recurring role on "The King of Queens". Daphne is hosting a game show on VH1. John is making a killing in commercials, as is Derek. Craig, I believe, is still doing "The Hughleys". I don't know the whereabouts of Justin, but I'm sure he's moved on. So, even if they wanted to bring it back, which we all know they don't, there would really be no point if they couldn't re-assemble most of the cast back together. The models are all scattered off, doing, well, modeling, and commercials. And in my estimation, it just wouldn't be the same X Show with a bunch of new models. Jillian's got several gigs going, one with FOX Sports. The X Show executive producer Mark Cronin, is doing another show, "Beat the Geeks", which is kicking ass. And is being co-hosted by X Show model Tiffany. Face it, the odds are against the return of the X Show. FX executives are cheap, lying bastards, and no one really wants to see a dilluted version of the X Show.
In terms of them showing reruns, that'd be great, but it might mean having to cut out a few episodes a week of those masterpieces Son of the Beach and Married With Children. You may not have figured out that FX is run by a bunch of underhanded liars, but the rest of us figured out a LOOOONG time ago.
