Subject: Summer

I walk to summers stall and peer in. I see that she has hay all in her forelock and at the top of her mane. I see her tail is littered with straw, only her coat is shining as it was the day before. I sigh and let myself in. Summer looks at me and nickers, she takes a few steps over to me and nuzzles my pockets looking for treats. I tell her that she is spoiled and pull some baby carrots out. She laps them up and crunchs greatfully.
"Now you don't get any carrots when I leave."
I get her brushes and tack and I groom her and tack her up quickly. We go to the ring and jump a bit. Then We come back to the barn I groom her and clean her tack while she eats. When I'm finished with the tack I go back into her stall and I say goodbye. She nudges my pocket again.
"You already had those carrots when I first got here don't you remember?"
She snorts and sniffs my other pocket. I smile reach in to my pocket she's sniffing and I pull out 4 chunks of an apple.
"Your to smart for you own good."
I feed the apple chunks to her and kiss her goodbye.
