Subject: Riding

I go get Summer form her stall and I groom her and pick her hooves and I tack her up with a western saddle. I take her out of the barn and I check the cinch and then I mount.
We go to the ring and I start her off at a walk.
Summer is trained in Western Pleasure so I just let her walk around the ring for awhile. Just a pleasure ride. I bring her to a trot and then back to a walk for awhile longer.
I take Summer back to the barn and untack her and give her some carrots when she is back in her stall.

Then I go get Princess. I groom her and tack her up. Then I take her to the ring. I tie her to the fence and I drag out some huge barrels I'm going to use for a barrel racing practice.
I set them up in the right spots and I go back to Princess. I tighten her cinch and I mount. I warm her up and then practice with the barrels.This is only my second time riding Princess but she is doing great. I decide that we've both had enough for today and I cool Princess down and take her back to the barn. I untack her and give her some carrots to munch on until I can get her and Summers dinner ready. I give them both some oats and hay and fresh water. I tell them both goodbye and I leave.
