A wistful looks passes over his face, he thinks about what to tell her. I was born, a long way from these parts. My mother was a brave mare, yet she stood up to her stallion one too many times. In a fit of anger, he killed her. a tear wells up in his eye, he shakes his head to clear the image forming in his mind, I ran, faster than I have ever run in my life. And I just, sort of found myself here.

The stallion looks around, staring at his swelling hoof, he sighs, it looks like I will be here longer than I anticipated.
