The stag listens to all this with ears flickering and eyes dark. His first impression of this equine steed was not good, but now he has realised that the creature is far better than he gave him credit for.

As the one dubbed Ambrosia runs, anger rushes through the stag's veins.
"His sister is dead!" he snarls, swinging around. "You call yourself his alpha mare, yet where were you to comfort him? And they say I have no compassion!" His temper simmers slightly, though his eyes remain narrowed. "He loves you, and yet you are ready to turn your back on him as soon as his way becomes tangled." He moves back to Unchanging Doubt's side, ears back against his flowing mane. Yet he remains silent. Perhaps he has done damage where he should have given help. His gaze flickers quickly towards Doubt.
"If you agree, we shall return to Another World. My hooves itch for journeying, and we have not yet explored that land." He looks back at Lihtening Dusk. "Whatever you decide, may you carry it out wisely. I know I cannot bring back Sea Smoke, and there is nothing I can do to make what I did any better. But if you are ever in need - I shall help you. ou have my word as a warrior."
He bows low and steps back, eyes on Unchanging Doubt.
