>I could hear his show all the way in Renton, and I and my family will miss him greatly. I had an opportuniy to meet, and have my picture taken with him and Nathan Detroit at the Puyallup fair 2 years ago. He was so gracious to me and my son who was also in the picture as well. I first caught his show a few years ago, coming home from a family reunion. Flipping through the channels on the radio, I heard the Spike Jones song "You wanna buy a Bunny?" and was instantly hooked. The very first song i called and requested from him(he took my request personally) was "Who Put The Benzedrine In Mrs. Murphy's Olvaltine" by Harry "The Hipster" Gibson. The local radio scene has lost a true personality.
