How long has it been now? A few minutes? Hours? Days?

Fireshard and Scaleblade had began to talk more. Not with hostility, but with curiosity of what has happened in eachother's lives. These recent attacks apparently drew them closer together, forgetting that one was a sweet innocent child, the other, a mass muderess, guilty of crimes un-imaginable.

But a question came up. How long WERE they here? Why were they even brought here?

Granted, it had helped build a stronger bond between parent and child, but why else? Or will they be stuck here? While their bodies remain in a forever mindless sleep, dreaming this dream for eternity, will they be forced ot sit here and be bored in this world of imagination?

Of course, Scaleblade could not imagine a world without Rampage, her love and savior. Had he not been created oh so long ago, Scaleblade would still be a science experiment in a test tube. Although times come to pass when she wishes this had happened, so many lived would of been saved, but it is the internal battles in which she wished she would never expeirience. A violent Schizophrenia, if you will, her emotions in constant war with eachother. While her body suffers the biggest consequence, much like a country in the heat of Civil War.

Fireshard prefered the plane of existance she was used to. The freedom of it. Although this place had given her back the ability to speak, the thought of her home made her wish she could return. To possibly have a family, something she wished for, ever since Scaleblade rejected her, punished her, just because of Fireshard's tender nature

"...mother.." Fireshard meekly spoke up from the long silence.

Scaleblade, who's eyes were closed, opened them yet again to look at Fireshard.

"...yes..?" She was also rather quiet, but by no means her words were whispers.

A small silence fell between the two yet again, but still, they looked at eachother's eyes. So much the same. True, Scaleblade's eyes were more matured and her eyes of a crimson and not green. Beyond these petty physical charactertistics pulsated an almost identical spark. And for the first time in Scaleblade's artificial life, she realized this.

All these long years, Scaleblade had never taken note that beyond the hatred, beyond the pain, she too had a spark. Not just any spark, but a spark with emotions. Emotions she knew; but was scared to use. Love, kindness, all these things that once she had were re-incarnated into Fireshard. So in a way, Scaleblade wanted to kill herself. Not just herself, but Rampage as well, whom which she was partically re-incarted from as well.

It all started ot make sense, slowly. A small, but warm smile crept across Scaleblade's lips, then she broke the silence.

"...I love you, daughter.." Scaleblade softly hugged Fireshard.

Fireshard embraced back.

"I love you, too, mom.."

It was a good start. Scaleblade had begun down the path of good.

Soon enough, shall she find her true self.
